At Biomerics, we specialize in and focus on six distinct segments of the medical device and healthcare industries. Our offerings and solutions in the cardiovascular, structural heart, cardiac rhythm management/electrophysiology, neurovascular, vascular access, and pain management markets are unrivaled.
This week we’ve chosen to highlight our capabilities and expertise within the cardiovascular market.
Comprised of the heart, arteries, capillaries, and veins, the human cardiovascular system is a closed network of components centered around the distribution of blood throughout the body. With the ongoing advancement of cardiovascular access, diagnosis, and treatment devices, doctors and medical professionals are able to provide patients with a level of care and options that were once impossible. Through our engineering, material, extrusion, injection molding, and assembly solutions, we help our customers design, develop, and launch their innovative, life-saving cardiovascular devices.
We offer the following contract manufacturing solutions to the cardiovascular market:
Fluid Management Systems
We offer a full line of materials and fluid management technologies for the control of contrast, saline, blood, and other liquids used during a procedure. Our materials, extrusions, and tubing are used in a variety of diagnostic, access, and interventional fluid management operations.
Imaging & Diagnostic Catheters
Imaging and diagnostic catheters are used to investigate and evaluate patients with suspected or known cardiovascular diseases. Our advanced catheter division specializes in the design and development of angiography and other diagnostic catheters and delivery systems.
Procedural Devices
Procedural devices are used to gain access to the body for the delivery or placement of catheters and other devices. At Biomerics, we contract manufacture a wide range of procedural devices for peripheral and central placements.
Drainage & Embolization Catheters
Drainage catheters are used in the removal and treatment of fluid build-up throughout the human body. These catheters can be placed in multiple locations, and are used in the extraction of fluids from abscesses, cysts, pseudocysts, pneumothoraces, hematomas, bilomas, and urinomas.
Embolization catheters are used to introduce emboli into the body to selectively occlude (i.e. deliberately block) a blood vessel.
At Biomerics and Biomerics Advanced Catheter, we specialize in the design, development, and production of drainage and embolization catheters for in-procedure use. Our Quadra™ line of biocompatible materials along with our extrusion, injection molding, and other secondary operation capabilities allow us to produce the most unique catheter configurations.
Balloon Catheters
Balloon catheters are used to map, detect, monitor, and treat various medical conditions. At Biomerics, we specialize in the design, development, production, and distribution of both balloons and balloon catheters used in a variety of operations and procedures.
Delivery Catheters
Delivery catheters are used to access a procedural location for the purpose of stent, guidewire, catheter, and fluid delivery and placement.
Through the experience and expertise of Biomerics Advanced Catheter, we have the ability to partner with customers to develop and manufacture a wide range of delivery catheters. We support our customers through every step of the design, engineering, and production phases of the delivery catheter manufacturing process.
Thrombectomy & Atherectomy Catheters
Thrombectomy catheters are used in the surgical removal of a blood clot or thrombus from a blood vessel to restore blood flow and prevent tissue death.
Atherectomy catheters are used to remove atherosclerosi from the walls of a large blood vessel within the body.
Biomerics Advanced Catheter specializes in the design and development of thrombectomy and atherectomy catheters for standard and specialized uses. We have the expertise and experience necessary to partner with customers to design micro-catheters that enable and optimize flexibility, steerability, and pushability.
