BROOKLYN PARK, MN (April 30, 2019) – Biomerics, LLC, a leading contract manufacturer for the attractive interventional medical device market, announced the appointment of Dave Liebl, as President of its Laser Processing business. Dave will be executing the growth strategy for Biomerics Advanced Laser, through both organic growth and acquisition to build a full-service business over time.
For more than 25 years, Dave Liebl has been at the forefront of medical device manufacturing for years including working with companies such as GV Medical, MedAmicus, Enpath Medical, NeoMetrics, and most recently at Heraeus where he was EVP of Product and Business Development. Dave has held vital positions in quality assurance, regulatory affairs, engineering, product development, and business development. “I am excited to join the Biomerics team.”, stated Dave. “Biomerics has a bold vision with a strong foundation. I look forward to adding my skills and working with the team to bring strategic focus to Biomerics Advanced Laser and to realize the growth vision. I look forward to expanding Biomerics’ laser process capabilities in the interventional device market for our customers”.
Biomerics Advanced Laser will focus on strengthening its current portfolio of services and incorporating additional capabilities and process technologies. As part of the strategy, Dave Liebl will focus on expanding operations to multiple locations, adding new product offerings, and managing business development opportunities. The business is committed to introducing additional laser processing and CNC machining capabilities as well as adding complementary processes and secondary metal finishing such as heat setting, electropolish, and coatings.

Dave will work out of the Biomerics Brooklyn Park, MN facility with Mike Whitehead, VP of Engineering and the rest of the Biomerics Advanced Catheter team.
