With our recent move to the new Headquarters building, here in Salt Lake City, we wanted to take a couple of minutes to reflect on some of the additional updates we made to our internal processes. We believe these new updates, will keep us competitive in the market, and improve our customer offerings and overall capabilities. As part of the reconstruction project of the new building, part of the plan was to build out space for a new large tonnage injection molding press.

BROOKLYN PARK, MN (April 15, 2019) — Biomerics LLC, a leading contract manufacturer in the minimally invasive interventional medical device market, announced the completion of an expansion at the Advanced Catheter facility located in Brooklyn Park, MN. The facility expansion added 10,000 square feet of engineering, office, and production space. It is expected to add 30 engineering and manufacturing positions to the location and increases the total size of the facility to 72,000 square feet.
Arriving bright and early, Heather Veness – Extrusion Technician III at Biomerics, fires up the Extruder and sets it to the appropriate pressure and temperature ranges for this morning’s Extrusion Run. These along with several other parameters are dependent on the type of material to be used, the length and dimensions of the extrusion, and much more.

The facility expansion added 12,700 square feet of new space, including additional cleanroom capacity, offices, labs, machine shop, break room, restrooms, and additional parking.
